ShoFinance for Mac ("ShoFinance", "the app", "we") is a native macOS application that reads data from your own Shopify store and shows you financial analytics. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data.
When you connect a store, ShoFinance is granted read access to your store through Shopify's official OAuth flow and GraphQL Admin API (orders, products, inventory, locations and Shopify Payments payouts). Those read scopes let the app calculate revenue, cost of goods, payment fees, refunds, shipping, taxes and profit. Data is fetched on demand and held in memory and an on-device cache to render the screens you open.
Connecting via Shopify OAuth uses a minimal, stateless token-exchange endpoint operated by WebKoding solely to complete Shopify's authorization handshake and return your store access token to the app. That endpoint does not store your store data; the access token is then kept in your macOS Keychain and used directly between your Mac and your store over HTTPS.
Your store's order and product data is read directly by the app from Shopify and is not sent to a ShoFinance server. We do not sell or share your data with any third party. The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
The AI advisor uses Apple's on-device foundation models to generate plain-language insights. Your store data is processed locally on your Mac for this feature and is not transmitted to us or to any third party. When Apple Intelligence is unavailable, the app falls back to local rule-based insights.
Paid plans (Solo and Agency) are sold through Apple's App Store. Purchases, renewals and the free trial are handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We receive only the anonymous entitlement status needed to unlock features (via Apple's StoreKit); we do not receive your payment information.
Your store domain and access token are stored in the macOS Keychain on your device. They are used only to authenticate requests to your store and are never transmitted to us after the initial OAuth exchange.
ShoFinance is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13.

This website (shofinance.webkodingtheme.com) uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits, to see which pages and referring sites bring people here, and to record when a visitor taps through to the App Store. It collects the page viewed, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and the referring site. IP addresses are anonymised, and Google advertising signals and ad personalisation are switched off — this data is never used to build an advertising profile and is never joined to anything you do inside the app. See Google’s privacy policy.
